INTRODUCTION

MLQ Entertainment Sdn. Bhd. was established in 2008 with its base of operations in Selangor, Malaysia. What began as an independent music label now includes music production, music publishing, artiste management, a fully equipped recording studio, and Qarmashop - an e-commerce site dealing mainly in artiste merchandise.

MLQ Entertainment was founded and helmed by producer Malique Ibrahim, who has over two decades of experience within the industry as an artist and composer. Working closely with a carefully selected team of music arrangers, engineers, and writers, songs produced by Malique are known to be commercial hits.

MLQ Entertainment frequently receives song commissions from broadcasting companies and movie and television productions for the composition of original soundtracks. We have worked with independent artists, various government ministries, and event organizers. MLQ also has a long and productive history of working in partnership with other major music labels in providing music for their artists.

MLQ Entertainment is a recognized music publisher with MACP (Music Author’s Copyright Protection) Malaysia and we represent nearly 200 registered musical works. We are also a certified member of RIM (The Recording Industry Association of Malaysia) since our establishment in 2008. Together with governing and regulatory bodies, we aim to make the business of music in Malaysia accountable and profitable to all members of the vibrant local creative industry.
